Morlin Coalhewer was once a priest of Golem, and a maker of magical arms and armor for his dwarven kinsmen. After the Jaarmath Family refused to honor their promise of extending the war to the Steam Lake fortress, effectively abandoning it to orcish hands, Morlin Coalhewer was one of the most vocal dwarves about ‘saving our dwarven brothers and sisters’. When word arrived from Overlook to come home, Morlin lost his faith not only with his deity, but with his people as well. He settled down in Drellin’s Ferry, as far from the dwarven clock tower as he could.
Today, Morlin is a bitter, jaded cynic, taking pride in his work because it is his, not because it reflects on dwarven craftsmanship.
